The construction company associated with U.S. President-elect Donald Trump is expanding its presence in Telangana, with plans to build Trump Towers in Hyderabad. This marks the latest phase of the company's real estate development in India, where it has already completed Trump Towers in Mumbai, Kolkata, Gurgaon, and Pune. In addition to the Hyderabad project, Trump Tower developments are also planned for Noida, Bangalore, and another tower in Pune, bringing the total number of Trump Towers in India to 10. As a result, India will host the largest number of Trump Towers outside the United States.
The Hyderabad project will involve the construction of twin towers in collaboration with the local Manjira Group. To facilitate the development, 2.92 acres of land in Khanamet, Madhapur, was acquired by the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) in 2022. The towers will feature luxurious residential units, including four-bedroom and five-bedroom apartments. The four-bedroom apartments will range from 4,000 to 5,000 square feet, while the five-bedroom apartments will span 6,000 square feet. At the time of planning, the projected price per square foot was Rs. 13,000, which now translates to a cost of around Rs. 5.5 crore for a four-bedroom apartment.
In addition to the residential units, the Trump Towers in other cities, developed in partnership with Tribeca Developers, will also include office spaces, villas, and golf courses, further enhancing the luxurious appeal of these projects.
